Green Tea Cookies
- ¾ cup powdered sugar
- 1 ½ tablespoon pure green tea leaves
- ½ cup plus 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter (room temperature)
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 ¾ cups of all purpose flour
- Pinch Salt
- Sugar for dusting (optional)
The procedure is same as baking simple cookies but here the difference is of using green tea leaves instead of peanut, caramel or cocoa. So, first of all, you have to mix sugar, green tea leaves, butter and beat them all together until the mixture turns smooth and spinach green in color. Then add egg yolks and again beat it well. Now at the end, add the remaining ingredients in the mixture and mix them well. Make sure your oven is pre-heated. Grease the cookies lightly and bake them in microwave. The time for which you need to bake depends on size of the cookies. Once baked, you may decorate them with sugar or any other topping you like.

- 120 grams sugar
- 3 egg yolks
- 100 grams cake flour
- 9 grams green tea leaves

The method starts from simply taking a bowl and electric beater to mix the ingredients. For the first few minutes, mix flour, egg whites and green tea powder. Just put the mixture in baking pan and then in preheated oven to cook it.
